BROOK PERDIGON TEXTILES || TEXTILES
Brook Perdigon is a Los Angeles based artist and textile designer. She has spent the past 13 years working closely with interior designers and architects helping to bring their design concepts to fruition. Brook has created custom textile collections for designers in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris. Most recently, she has honed her skills as a senior designer for Tai Ping Carpets, designing custom carpets for high profile clients and prestigious projects worldwide.
These experiences along with her affinity for art and design have led her to launch Brook Perdigon Textiles, a collection of designs that explore the creative history, culture, and craft of people through design.
Inspiration does not pursue a straight line. It travels through cycles. Lines in circles around one another. Space appears and recedes, shaping itself into patterns. Across continents and through cultures, we follow the flow, along the path from pole to point and back again. Hand-drawn. Hand-screened. Inspired by the journey.
NEW LANDS COLLECTION
Exploration is more than travel — It’s an inner expedition, one with humble beginnings. A scrap of cloth, a piece of pottery. From a place in the mind, a pattern emerges. The further it goes, the closer it comes to home. Hand-drawn. Hand-printed. Inspired by the journey. Made in LA.
MOUNTAINS OF THE MOON COLLECTION
Brook's debut collection, the Mountains of the Moon, consists of six designs all inspired by the abstract art of 1930's Paris, Russian Constructivism and the 1920's African barkcloth. Using neutral + natural colours, they strip away the congestion of a palette and stand alone as modern timeless textiles.
